Survivalist Cookbook

I’m excited to announce that I published a new book this year titled Survivalist Cookbook under the pen name Sir Vivaliste.

I looked at my stockpile of food and asked myself … how will I keep meals interesting without my family getting bored of eating the same-old thing over and over again? I initially started a blog with recipes to make a stockpile of durable food less boring. But once the blog grew beyond 20 pages, I had to turn it into a book.

I don’t have a clue what you’ll have after the SHTF. I assembled this book using recipes from my camping trips, college concoctions, pioneer and native foods, and dishes from 3rd world countries. These recipes are supposed to be easy to prepare with the ingredients most preppers should have stockpiled[1] or are able to forage, grow, and trade.

This cookbook is all about practicality and skips the photos. If eye candy is what matters to you, bless your heart. Here’s hoping you make it through the apocalypse.

I wrote three versions:

$20.00 – Hardcover

This is the original book. It has backstories, recipe descriptions, and helpful tips.

$9.00 – 4×6” Pocket Edition

The pocket-sized version of my cookbook is the perfect size to keep in a bugout bag or sealed inside a container with durable food. It has a smaller font and omits backstories and detailed tips.

$4.00 – Kindle eBook

The Kindle edition is the same as the original cookbook, but digital. It’s affordably priced so everyone can access the information regardless of income. However, you should consider the practical utility of having a digital book without the ability to power a device to read it on.

You won’t be able to buy groceries or dine at restaurants after civilization collapses. With over 150 recipes and survival cooking tips, this book helps ensure your family won’t get bored eating the same-old stuff from a food stockpile.

Get your copy before it’s too late.

[1] Common Stockpiled Foods: Most preppers should have these basic “dry” or mostly non-perishable ingredients in their stockpile: salt, spices, flour, rice, powdered potatoes, pastas, canned meats (tuna, potted meat, Spam, etc.), or fruits and vegetables (canned, dehydrated, or freeze-dried).
